As 2026 draws to a close, we are reflecting on a monumental year of engineering, design, and growth. We set out with a bold thesis: that world-class, AI-driven software could be built to operate entirely offline. This year, we proved it.
Major Milestones
- Neuron: We shipped a localized NLP engine that fits in your pocket, proving that search doesn't require an API.
- Calon 1.5: We transformed a simple tracker into a comprehensive, privacy-first health vault.
- CityWatch: We laid the groundwork for civic tech that empowers communities to hold infrastructure accountable.
The Power of the Community
None of this would be possible without our beta testers, open-source contributors, and the incredible feedback we received. Every crash report and feature request helped us iterate faster and build better tools.
Looking to 2027
Next year, we are doubling down on our Lab experiments. We will be bringing true on-device Large Language Models (LLMs) to lower-end hardware and expanding the Omnis ecosystem across Linux and Windows. The future is localized, and we are just getting started.
